Moab Pricing Guide

I’m so stoked you’re here. You’re not just planning a wedding day, you’re crafting an experience that actually feels like you. The kind of day where you laugh until your cheeks hurt, soak in every view, and toss the rulebook out the window. A day that ends with dirt on your shoes, wind in your hair, and that “holy crap, we actually did this” kind of energy. You know the one!

So You’ve Decided to Elope in Moab!

Let's Make It a Day That Feels Like the Best Day of Your Life.

Hey you two!

I’m not big on doing things “the way you’re supposed to.” I’ll take messy, joyful, real moments over picture-perfect any day. Street tacos? Always. Lobster? Hard pass. Trashy reality TV? Absolutely. Five-star hotels? Only if they come with a campfire.

If you’re into breaking traditions and making your day feel like you, then yep...we’re totally each other’s people.

Hi there! I'm megan

Your Elopement Photographer

Here's how I make sure your day gets exactly that:

Your day isn't a production, it's an experience. You deserve space for spontaneity, for quiet moments together, for stepping back and soaking it all in. Those "I can't believe we just did that" moments? That's what your elopement is all about.

You Should Actually Get to Be fully Present

This is your day to choose yourselves first. Sunrise vows, sailboat celebrations, bringing your dog; whatever feels right for you two deserves to be celebrated and supported, not questioned.

You Deserve to Make Bold, Personal Choices

You're eloping to avoid the chaos of a traditional wedding, not to create new stress. No hidden fees, no surprise costs, no confusing packages. The process should be as simple and enjoyable as the day itself.

Your Experience Should Be Simple and Stress-Free

Planning an elopement from scratch can feel isolating and overwhelming. You deserve someone who handles the logistics such as permits, timelines, vendor connections, even officiating if you need it—so you can focus on the experience, not the stress. Your day matters, and the planning process should reflect that.

You Deserve Full Support

Traditional timelines, expected customs, someone else's script for how your day "should" go? None of that applies here. You're choosing to elope because you want the freedom to design your day however you want. I'm here to encourage those bold choices and help you create something that's completely yours.

You Get to Break the Rules (and You Should)

You shouldn't have to perform for a camera or put on a show for guests. The moments that matter—the ones where you're laughing until you cry, tearing up during your vows, or just standing there taking it all in—those are the ones I prioritize. Your day should feel true to you, not polished for someone else's approval.

Your Real Moments Are What Matter Most

Choosing to elope doesn't mean your day matters less, it means you're choosing what matters more. You're not doing this because you have to. You're doing it because you want a day that's intimate, intentional, and authentically yours. And that deserves to be treated with the same care, excitement, and celebration as any traditional wedding.

 Your Elopement Matters

Here's how I make sure your day gets exactly that:

"Our experience with Megan was just outstanding. From the first picture to the final shot, she brought terrific energy, beautiful ideas, and a professionalism that combined our interests with her keen eye. Once the photos were edited and developed, the final prints took our breath away.

We loved the experience from beginning to end. Thank you, Megan. It was such a magical experience."

Custom Location Scouting

I research and hand pick locations tailored to you. I know where to go, when to go, and how to dodge the tourist crowds when possible.

You’ll have unlimited email and text planning support, so you can ask questions anytime inspiration (or curiosity) strikes. I've got you, so you never feel stuck or alone.

I’ll craft a timeline that keeps your day running smooth and your hearts wide open, so you can focus on the fun, not the clock.

Comprehensive guide with Moab-specific resources—best times to visit, trail recommendations, where to stay, what to pack, and insider tips.

Know what to bring and what to skip. I'll remind you about the fun stuff too, like inkless paw print pads if you want your dog involved.

Making it legal doesn’t have to be a buzzkill. I’ll help you handle the permits and paperwork so you can focus on celebrating, not stressing. And...if you need an officiant, I can legally marry you!

Because let's face it...Waiting sucks. You'll get sneak peeks (highlights of your full day) within 48 hours while you're still riding the high, and your full online gallery in 8-10 weeks—so you can relive the magic immediately and share it with everyone you love.

What you see is what you get. No hidden travel fees, no surprise add-ons, no fine print.

I know the good ones. I'll connect you with vendors who actually get your vision (and won't make you do the Cupid Shuffle). Plot twist: I'm also a travel agent, so honeymoon planning? Covered.

You're in? Perfect! Let's do this thing!!!

Absolutely. I've been to 37 countries and 38 states—and I am a travel agent, so logistics are kind of my thing. Travel fees are included in all my packages. Moab, Pacific Northwest, or anywhere else your story takes us, I'm there.

Do you travel? What about fees?

01.

Yes, up to 15 guests. Beyond that, logistics get complicated and location options narrow significantly. If you're planning a traditional wedding with more than 15 guests, I'm probably not your photographer—I focus on intimate elopements where the day stays about you two.

Can we bring guests?

02.

No. I specialize in elopements and intimate celebrations in epic locations. If you're planning a traditional wedding with more than 15 guests, I'm not the right fit—but I promise you'll find amazing photographers who specialize in that.

Do you photograph larger weddings?

03.

Of course! I know dog-friendly locations and love when furry friends are part of the day. Just keep in mind that 8-12 hours can be long for some pups—consider their stamina and whether they might need a pet sitter for part of the day.

Can we bring our dog?

04.

I always create a backup plan and book buffer days on either side of your elopement in case we need to pivot. Sometimes we adjust the timeline. Sometimes we embrace the weather—moody skies and rain can create incredibly dramatic photos. Either way, we'll make it work.

What happens if the weather is bad?

05.

Not at all! That's the beauty of eloping—this day is and should be all about you two. Spend the day doing what you love or have always wanted to do. If that's hiking to a mountain peak, great! If it's a beach ceremony at sunset with champagne, also perfect. Your vows, your rules.

Do we have to hike?

06.

Ideally 6-18 months. Peak season in Moab is spring and fall, and summer in the Pacific Northwest books quickly. If you're eyeing those times, book further out to secure your date.

How far in advance should we book?

07.

Totally. Trust me I get it!  I don't like being in front of the camera. We'll spend part of the day creating intentional, epic photos—think golden hour portraits and stunning backdrops. The rest? I document naturally while you live your day. You're not performing; you're experiencing it.

I don't want to be on an all-day photoshoot. Is that okay?

08.

Whatever you love. Bucket list items, things you do together, experiences that feel like you. Hot air balloon ride at sunrise over lavender fields. Sunset sail on a Washington lake after hiking. 4x4 adventure through the Moab desert. Your vows, your rules—I help you design it, then capture it.

What would we even do all day?

09.

Me. Always me. I'm a one-woman business, and I love it that way. When you book me, you get me from start to finish—from our first planning conversation to your final gallery delivery. No surprises, no substitutes.

Will you be our photographer, or do you send someone else?
