You and your partner know you aren't the only people involved in picking out floral arrangements and tour venues or the ones organizing the seating charts. You're worried if you give in and have the big wedding, your day will consist of people pleasing instead of actually getting to spend your wedding day with your partner.

After living through my own big wedding, I knew I had to guide couples through creating a wedding they want, not the day everyone says they should have.

I always create a backup plan and book buffer days on either side of your elopement in case we need to pivot. Sometimes we adjust the timeline. Sometimes we embrace the weather—moody skies and rain can create incredibly dramatic photos. Either way, we'll make it work.
What happens if the weather is bad?

Not at all! That's the beauty of eloping—this day is and should be all about you two. Spend the day doing what you love or have always wanted to do. If that's hiking to a mountain peak, great! If it's a beach ceremony at sunset with champagne, also perfect. Your vows, your rules.
Do we have to hike?

Totally. Trust me I get it! I don't like being in front of the camera. We'll spend part of the day creating intentional, epic photos—think golden hour portraits and stunning backdrops. The rest? I document naturally while you live your day. You're not performing; you're experiencing it.
